Today marks a major milestone for Jurassic fans and collectors: the embargo on Jurassic World: Rebirth toys has officially lifted. That means we’re finally getting a clearer look at what Mattel has been cooking up for the franchise’s next big cinematic chapter—and it’s already causing a stir across European Amazon stores and Target in the USA.

As expected, a wave of new toys linked to Rebirth has begun surfacing online. These include a range of figures tied directly to the upcoming film, many of which were quietly added to Amazon listings overnight. But that’s not all. Two long-anticipated additions to the Hammond Collection—the Spinosaurus and Stegosaurus—have also started showing up in European listings, much to the excitement of fans who’ve been waiting for their release since they were first teased earlier this year.

But the real surprise? Three new small-scale Hammond Collection dinosaurs were also spotted: Stygimoloch, Troodon, and a Velociraptor with a puzzling twist.
Let’s break them down:
Stygimoloch

This one is clearly based on the memorable dinosaur from Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, where it played a key role in the film’s breakout sequence. The sculpt and coloration reflect the on-screen look, and it’s a solid addition for fans of the newer trilogy.
Troodon

Now here’s something for the deep-cut fans. The design of this figure is unmistakably inspired by Telltale’s Jurassic Park: The Game. With its eerie eyes and slender frame, this Troodon brings a bit of expanded universe into the Hammond Collection—a rare move that will definitely excite longtime franchise followers.
Velociraptor

This is where things get interesting. The packaging shown in the product image clearly labels the figure as a Velociraptor, and its design strongly resembles the raptors seen in The Lost World: Jurassic Park. However, the product listing itself refers to it as Atrociraptor Tiger, one of the quartet from Jurassic World: Dominion.

So, is this a case of a mislabeled product listing? Or has Mattel quietly shifted its strategy, choosing to market the figure as a Velociraptor despite its design origins?
With Jurassic World: Rebirth on the horizon, these new figures offer an exciting taste of what’s to come. Whether you’re a Hammond Collection completist or a casual collector, it’s clear that this new wave is shaping up to be one of the most eclectic—and intriguing—yet.
Which of these new reveals are you most excited for?
